Grant Laidlaw
Deputy Chief Executive Officer
Grant joined Directions in January 2011 and brings with him extensive commercial experience across a diverse range of industries.
He has over 15 years executive experience in the management and administration of mid-sized business including General Manager Adventure World from 2006 – 2010 and Operations Manager for The West Australian Turf Club 2001 – 2005.
Grant has an MBA (University of Western Australia).
Sarah Smith
Manager - Directions Registered Training Organisation
Sarah has worked with Directions WA for over ten years and started the training unit of Directions WA. In Sarah's current position as the Training (RTO) Unit Manager, she is passionate about developing new and innovative programs that contribute positively to WA communities.
There are many exciting initiatives that she is focused on achieving for Directions WA, including Overseas Training, expanding our Virtual Enterprise concept and developing partnerships with local community and industry organisations.
After winning the WA State Trainer of the Year Award, Sarah is always on the hunt for a new challenge both professionally and personally.
Teresa McGrechan
Principal - Caversham Training and Education Centre
Teresa is a qualified teacher and has spent many years in the education and training sector. She has worked in community organisations and schools as well as eight years in the TAFE sector.
Teresa is now the Principal of CTEC, our Independent school located in Caversham.

Rani Lengen
Human Resources Officer
Rani has been with Directions since 2007, she holds a Diploma of Human Resources Management and brings over 25 years of experience in Recruitment, Career Development and Employment working in public and private sector in Queensland and New South Wales.
Helen Matjuszenko

Geoff Romero
Accountant
Geoff previously worked at RSM Bird Cameron in Northam for three years as an Accountant and 18 months with Agserve Goomalling as their internal Accountant.
He recently completed a Bachelor of Business (Accounting).
Hailey Eaton
Manager Goldfields
Hailey has worked in the vocational education and training (VET) sector for over 12 years.
She commenced her VET sector career working in a group training organisation in Victoria and then relocated to Western Australia in 2006 to commence employment in Kalgoorlie within the TAFE environment.
After a short time away from the Goldfields, she has returned to work with Directions and the people within the Goldfields-Esperance region.
Hailey has qualifications in business management as well as training/assessment. A passionate advocate for 'Life Long Learning', she really looks forward to working within the community again and assisting people to achieve their employment and training goals.
Finally, Hailey is keen to develop long term pro-active partnerships within the community as well as working with businesses for successful employment and training outcomes.
