Commonly asked questions...
What is the difference between an Apprenticeship and a Traineeship?
A traineeship is shorter - mostly 12 - 18 months in duration. It is almost always on the job training with study being done during work hours and at home. The traineeship is targeted at the job you are doing which makes it easier to complete the assignments and assessments that are necessary as part of the training. There are so many available traineeships and it is a fantastic way of gaining a qualification while being paid for training.
Traineeships can fill a skills gap, encourage a loyal workforce and provide a pathway for employees. Traineeships are valuable way for people to earn a qualification through employment. The training is a combination of on and off the job with individual training programs that are designed for each person, based on their existing skills and the organisations/stores needs.
