The Workplace Development Centre (WDC) will provide services to local business by providing:
- Career planning workshops for existing employees
- Career planning support for employees who are made redundant
- Workforce development workshops and advisory service
- Potential employee database
The Workforce Development Centre will ensure that customers are screened appropriately and effectively and in this process can expect:
- Prompt and courteous service
- Helpful trained staff who will treat you with respect, confidentiality and in a culturally appropriate manner
- Fair and equitable access to our resources services and programs
- Convenient hours of operation
- Prompt responses to enquiries, comments or complaints
- We will listen to you and support you to consider your career development options
- We will work with you to put a plan in place that meets your needs
- We will respect your privacy at all times
- We will abide by the Career Development Association of Australia Code of Ethics
In any instance that our services cannot cater for your requirements, we will always refer you to the relevant and appropriate service
