Learning Support

Directions cater to diverse students learning needs, and aims to identify and respond to the learning needs of all students.  Students are encouraged to express their views about their learning needs at all stages of their training.

Language Literacy & Numeracy (LLN)

All students will be assessed on their LLN skills to ensure that they have the skills to meet the LLN demands of their chosen course.

This will not stop the student in enrolling in the program; it will only be an indicator for Directions to identify students who may need additional training or support, or those who may need to be referred to an alternative training venue that will better support their special needs.

We encourage students with issues to seek assistance from their trainer.

Personal Support

We understand that there may be times when personal issues may affect your ability to undertake your training.  Directions has links with a number of internal and external people to whom we can refer you to.  Ask your trainer for more information.
