Pre-apprenticeship placements result in apprenticeships for Alex and Julian
Directions’ arrangement for work placements for Alex Haywood-Darke and Julian Kort-Pietersen onto the Palmyra Project by Finbar has resulted in them both being offered full apprenticeships.
Alex and Julian have been undertaking their pre-apprenticeship programs in carpentry and joinery through South Metropolitan TAFE (Rockingham campus).
Both men impressed site manager Mark Chatburn with their hard work and positive attitude and they have been welcomed into the cohort of Directions apprentices hosted by Hanssen on the site.
South Metropolitan TAFE carpentry and joinery lecturer Tony Dyson shared his pride in his students achievement in securing full apprenticeships. We all agree it’s a great outcome.
“Well done lads!” added Apprentice Manager-Construction, Steve Thomas.
