Sam wins Master Builders Apprentice Safety Award 2018

Directions apprentice Sam Goggins has taken out the 2018 Apprentice Safety Award at the Master Builders Apprentice of the Year Awards earlier this month.

Sam is a carpentry and joinery apprentice host with Salini-NRW. Sam is currently working and training under the watchful eye of site supervisor Brendan Lucas at their Forrestfield station site.

The award is sponsored by the Mark Allen Memorial Trust Fund and presented to a construction trades apprentice who has demonstrated high standards of safety and commitment to safety on the job.

Mark White from South Metro TAFE nominated Sam for the prestigious award which was assessed by a panel of judges and presented at the Master Builders.
