Apprentices

Apprenticeships are an invaluable tool to build the workforce your business needs. It delivers a structured, employment based program with a combination of on the job and off the job training, usually over a four year period

Trainees

Like apprentices, recruiting the right trainee from the outset and supporting them appropriately throughout their traineeship is the key to success. Traineeships nominally take between one to two years to complete

About Apprentices & Trainees

Apprenticeships and traineeships are an excellent way to develop and build practical skills and a safety focused culture alongside the sort of valuable skills that make a good worker a great employee.

Apprenticeships and traineeships are available in more than 500 occupations across most industries and at a range of different qualification levels.

You can host or employ a school-leaver, someone re-entering the workforce, or an adult or mature-aged person wishing to change careers. Apprenticeships and traineeships can be full time or part time.

Just a final footnote to help avoid confusion; the Australian Government refers to apprenticeships and traineeships collectively as ‘Australian Apprenticeships’ and you may see this term used on documents including the training contract
