Indigenous Mentoring

Direction’s Indigenous Mentoring provides Indigenous led, targeted one on one support to your directly employed Indigenous apprentices and trainees.

Our Indigenous mentoring provides whatever additional support and guidance is needed in the learning journey or professional development of Indigenous employees in a culturally appropriate model that recognises the significance of two-way learning. Here at Directions, we see mentoring as a learning, enabling and empowerment tool.

Direction takes a case management approach and individualises the support needed to each apprentice or trainee, to enable early identification of issues and addressing them in a timely and culturally sensitive way.

Mentoring services can be provided on a per person basis or across your Indigenous workforce on a time basis. We will work with you to develop the solution that suits the needs of your business and your workforce.
